Our core commitment lies in advancing the rights of girls to education fostering women's economic empowerment and empowering every child and youth while confronting climate change through robust advance capacity building and impactful awareness initiative
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Harriet Namazzi the visionary behind Harriet Ministries Uganda, emerged as the first graduate in her community where education was a rare privileged blazing a trail of hope and empowerment Raised amidst the challenges of her four sisters early pregnancies and witnessing their struggles in unpaid care work, she recognized the urgent need for change. Her keen observation revealed the disproportionate impact of climate change on women, further fueling her determination to act Driven by her personal journey and a fervent commitment to justice, She founded Harriet Ministries Uganda in February 2017, a beacon of transformation dedicated to uplifting women and girls combating climate change , and fostering equitable opportunities for all. Harriet firmly believes that empowering women and girls uplift not only communities but also nations and the world at large.
She passionately calls upon everyone to join her in making this world a better place for everyone, the time for action is now.
